As a Support Worker, you will work directly with residents to help promote independence, wellbeing, and personal growth through tailored support and activities. Duties
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing and dressing etc.
- Support clients with medication administration
- Engage in meaningful activities with clients, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Drive clients to appointments or social outings when necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop tailored care plans that meet individual needs.
Who we want
- People with a genuine passion for providing care and support to individuals in need of support.
- Previous experience as a support worker is desirable, however, it is not essential as training is provided.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- A valid driving license is advantageous for transportation duties.

Pay rates
Starting rate of pay (Applicable from 1st April 2026), £13.30ph rising to £13.70ph following successful probation (6 months). £50 per sleep in.
Want to earn more?
We pay enhanced overtime rates, earn £23.28ph for a weekend shift whilst on probation or £23.98ph once you've passed probation! You could also earn £19.95ph during the week if you help cover a late shift, or £20.55ph after probation!
Hours of work: Full time with alternating shifts (7:45am - 3:30pm Early shift and 2:45pm - 10:30pm Late shift) six days on, three days off.
(Part-time roles consist of various patterns, including: 3 days on, 6 days off / 4 days on, 5 days off / 5 days on, 4 days off)
This is done on a rolling rota system and is repeated. Please note you will not work the same days each week.

- Highly Enhanced overtime rates (x1.25 weekdays, x1.5 weekday lates, x1.75 weekends and x2 on bank holidays!) ** Some conditions apply for part time staff.
